HomeSend Capital Contribution

Wameja (LSE: WJA.L & ASX: WJA.AX), a joint venture partner with Mastercard in the HomeSend global payment hub, advises that it has today subscribed for a further €1,410,588 of shares in HomeSend SCRL.  The equity contribution is part of a €4,000,000 capital raise with Mastercard contributing the balance in proportion to its interest in HomeSend SCRL.  The funds from the capital raise are to be used to support the operational expenses of the HomeSend 2021 business plan and its minimum equity requirements for H2 2021.

 

This contribution substantially satisfies the Cash Reserve Requirement under the Scheme Implementation Agreement with Burst Acquisition Co. Pty. Ltd, a company controlled by Mastercard as announced on 10 September 2020 and amended on 9 April 2021, 24 May 2021 and 18 June 2021.  The Cash Reserve Requirement is now 89,422.
