Board Change
Sondrel (Holdings) plc (AIM: SND), the fabless semiconductor business providing turnkey services in the design and delivery of 'application specific integrated circuits' ("ASICs") and 'system on chips' ("SoCs") for leading global technology brands, announces that Gordon Orr has resigned as Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 5 January 2024.
The Company intends to appoint an additional independent Non-Executive Director and a further announcement will be made, as appropriate, in due course.
Gordon Orr commented:
"My decision to step down from the Board reflects my desire to narrow my directorship commitments and I remain a committed supporter of the Sondrel story. I have enjoyed interacting with the Board and wider executive team since the Group's IPO. Sondrel has a strong team in place and I am confident it will deliver on its ambitions as demand for ASICs continues to increase and Sondrel's leading engineering capability really sets it apart from others in the industry."
Nigel Vaughan, Chairman of Sondrel, added:
"On behalf of the Board, I'd like to thank Gordon for the valuable contribution he has made since the Group's flotation."
