RESULTS OF SCRIP DIVIDEND ELECTION - 2024 INTERIM DIVIDEND

Scrip Scheme elections were received in respect of 6,748,235 shares representing a take up of approximately 1.38% of the Company's share capital. This will result in the issue of 70,607 new ordinary shares (approximately 0.01% of the current issued share capital).  These shares will be issued at a price of 952.30 pence each (this being the Scrip Reference Share Price announced on 27 September 2024). These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares.

Applications will be made to the UK Financial Conduct Authority for these shares to be admitted to the Premium Segment of the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading on the Main Market for listed securities. It is expected that admission will occur on 1 November 2024.

Following the issue of these shares, the total number of shares in issue and voting rights in the Company will be 488,792,074 with effect from 1 November 2024. This may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

Share certificates will be posted to certificated shareholders who elected for scrip dividend shares and shareholders holding shares in CREST, who elected for scrip dividend shares, will have their CREST accounts credited directly on 1 November 2024.

Details of the scrip scheme can be found on the Company's website at
