Second major customer win for 1Streetworks
Surrey County Council targets significant cost and time savings through implementation of innovative SaaS solution
Further to the notification on 14 October 2024, 1Spatial, (AIM: SPA) a global leader in Location Master Data Management (LMDM) software and solutions, has now entered into a 12-month contract valued at
1Streetworks' cloud-based SaaS solution is the first in the market to fully automate the production of traffic management plans, diversion routing and asset inventory lists. It also enables the plans and their location to be shared with other users on the platform. The cloud-based system can also be effortlessly incorporated into existing operational processes with minimal disruption.
The County Council intends to use the platform as a centralised hub to manage the execution of street works on traffic sensitive roads, improving efficiency, speed and safety of street works carried out. Traffic-sensitive roads are high-volume or major public transport routes prone to significant delays during roadworks. Using the platform to plan and manage ongoing works will enable seamless collaboration between the County Council and other stakeholders including utilities and Tier 1 contractors.
The platform's use by multiple organisations should increase industry awareness amongst the 1Streetworks target market and highlight the substantial return on investment the solution delivers.
Commenting on the Contract award, 1Spatial CEO, Claire Milverton, said: "We are delighted to have secured this significant contract with Surrey County Council. This achievement reinforces the value of our proposition, marks a significant milestone in the growth of this critical business segment and provides further evidence of the successful execution of our strategy.
Adoption by a government body will significantly elevate the profile of 1Streetworks SaaS among our target customer base and highlight the associated benefits to industry participants. Combined with the recent strategic additions to our 1Streetworks team, 1Spatial is well placed to capitalise on the substantial
