Bank of Georgia Group PLC announces outcome of external audit tender
Bank of Georgia Group PLC (the "Company"- LSE: BGEO LN) announces its intention to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as its auditor for the year ending 31 December 2026. This follows a competitive tender process overseen by the Audit Committee, resulting in a recommendation which was approved by the Board.
Ernst & Young LLP ("EY"), the Company's current auditor, will continue in their role and will undertake the audit of the Company until the year ending 31 December 2025, subject to reappointment by shareholders at the relevant Annual General Meeting. The appointment of PwC will be recommended to the Company's shareholders for approval at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
