Redrow is a leading housebuilder and commercial development company which employs over 1,300 people nationwide. It started off in 1974 as a civil engineering company in North Wales before moving into private house builiding in 1980. In 2001, the group acquired Tay Homes for �30m.

Steve Morgan
Chairman
Steve Morgan founded Redrow in 1974 - and under his direction, the business evolved from being a small civil engineering contractor to becoming one of the UK’s leading home-builders. Steve led the flotation of the Company in 1994 and eventually stepped down as Chairman in November 2000. He returned to the company in March 2009 and was appointed Chairman on 30 June 2009. Steve is also Chairman of the Bridgemere Group of Companies, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Carden Leisure. He was awarded an OBE in 1992 for services to the construction industry.
John Tutte
Group CEO
John Tutte joined the Board of Redrow in July 2002, having qualified in civil engineering and amassing more than 30 years’ experience within the industry. John was previously Chief Executive of Wilson Connolly plc. On 14 September 2009, he was appointed as Redrow’s Group Managing Director and on 1st July 2014 was appointed Group CEO
Barbara Richmond
Group Finance Director
In a career that commenced with Arthur Andersen, Barbara Richmond has occupied Finance Director positions for GEC and Whessoe plc, before becoming Group Finance Director for Croda International plc and Inchcape plc. She has also held finance-related directorships at Carclo Group plc and Scarborough Building Society. Barbara has a strong background in manufacturing and retail, as well as extensive experience of acquisitions and disposals.
Graham Cope
Company Secretary
Graham Cope joined Redrow as Head of Legal in November 2002 and was appointed Company Secretary two months later. He has 20 years’ experience in the house-building sector, working either in-house or for clients in private practice. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 and is a member of the Law Society.
Sir Michael Lyons
Non-Executive Director
Sir Michael is Chairman of the English Cities Fund created by Government to promote sustainable urban generation. He is also Chairman of SQW Group and a strategic adviser to CBRE. Prior to this following a long and distinguished career in local government, he completed a four year term as Chairman of the BBC. Sir Michael recently chaired the Lyons Housing Commission to produce a road map for increasing house building in the UK.
Liz Peace
Non-Executive Director
Liz is joining after 12 years as the CEO of the British Property Federation; prior to this she had a long and distinguished career in the Civil Service. Liz chairs Redrow’s Sustainability Committee. Liz is a Non-Executive Director of Morgan Sindall Group plc and Turley Associates. She is also a member of the Peabody Trust and a trustee of the property charity Land Aid.
Debbie Hewitt
Senior Independent Director
Debbie Hewitt joined the Redrow Board in August 2009. She is a Non-Executive Director of Mouchel plc, HR Owen plc, Luminar plc, Moss Bros plc, NCC plc and Domestic and General. She also sits on the Board of a Government department, the Office of Government Commerce.
Nick Hewson
Non-Executive Director
Nick Hewson is a qualified Chartered Accountant and currently invests privately in a portfolio of real estate investments, developments and holdings in the UK. He has been involved in property businesses since 1984, both public and private, including Grantchester Holdings PLC, which was listed from 1996 until 2002. He is a Non-Executive Director of Croma Security Solutions PLC where he is also Chairman of the Audit Committee.
