Xaar CFO Ian Tichias resigns

Inkjet printing technology group said on Wednesday that chief financial officer Ian Tichias has resigned "to pursue other opportunities".
The company said it has begun the search for a permanent CFO and will provide updates in due course.
Until then, Paul James has been appointed as interim CFO and executive director. Xaar said he has extensive experience having been group CFO of Biffa from September 2023 until October 2024 and group CFO of Genuit Group from March 2018 to September 2023.
James has held senior financial roles with Dixons Carphone, Inchcape, British American Tobacco and Ernst and Young.
Chairman Andrew Herbert said: "I would like to thank Ian for his contribution and commitment to the board of Xaar as chief financial officer since 2020. He has played a significant role in delivering a re-invigorated strategy and leaves Xaar with a healthy balance sheet ensuring that the business is well-positioned to capitalise upon the significant market opportunities that lay ahead of it. We wish him the very best for the future.
"We are pleased to have someone of Paul's calibre as interim CFO and his experience will help us maximise the group's significant opportunity."
