Tao Alpha appoints Bitcoin treasury strategist Henry Elder to board ahead of Satsuma rebrand
(soon to be renamed ) , a company focused on the convergence of Bitcoin treasury strategy and decentralised AI, announced the appointment of Henry Elder as non-executive director. Elder is expected to join Tao's board following the departure of Mark Rutledge.
Elder is best known for his work at UTXO Management, a premier asset management and advisory firm within BTC Inc, the world's largest Bitcoin media company and parent to Bitcoin Magazine and The Bitcoin Conference. At UTXO, Elder helped execute Bitcoin treasury strategies for numerous public and private companies across the US, Canada, Japan, and Europe.
Elder's previous experience includes leading a US$1.5bn digital asset treasury and wealth management platform as managing director at Wave Digital Assets where he provided treasury guidance to major blockchain foundations like Polygon and Cardano. He then grew the firm's decentralized finance (DeFi) practice to over US$250m in DeFi yield strategies.
