Phoenix Group taps Nic Nicandrou for CFO

Savings and retirement business revealed on Wednesday that Nic Nicandrou had been appointed to the role of chief financial officer, with effect from 2 December.
Phoenix said Nicandrou has "extensive financial services and executive leadership experience within the FTSE 100", most recently from his role as chief executive officer of Prudential Asia & Africa.
The FTSE 100-listed group added that interim CFO Stephanie Bruce will remain in the role until such a time that an orderly handover has been completed.
As of 0815 GMT, Phoenix shares were down 0.26% at 494.53p.
