Gulf Marine Services says new general meeting request invalid
The London-listed company, which provides support vessels to the offshore energy sector, said the latest request - seeking board changes and a dividend - was made by the same parties behind a similar move announced on 14 May.
That earlier attempt was ruled invalid on 23 May.
GMS noted that the parties did not engage in dialogue after being invited to do so.
The company confirmed that shareholders had been informed and advised not to take any action on the matter.
GMS said it remained open to engaging with the requesting parties through further discussions.
At 0950 BST, shares in Gulf Marine Services were down 1.84% at 21.35p.
