The company is taking advantage of the change underway in the market whereby vendors build FPGA-based platforms for deployments with multiple applications.

A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing - "field-programmable".

The company also noted that new Open Compute Platforms based entirely on FPGA’s and other FPGA-based adoptions is expected to result in “greater business opportunities” for Eternity’s patented ENET flow Processor technology.

"We are very pleased to have been chosen to partner with such a well-respected aviation manufacturing company," said Rob O'Hara, Ethernity's Vice President of International Sales.

"I believe this to be an indication of Ethernity's prominent position in the market for best-in-class networking processing and security technology for FPGA platforms."
