eEnergy Group enters new €10m facility with SUSI Partners

(EAAS ) has entered into a new €10m committed project funding facility to extend the scope and scale of its financing arrangements with SUSI Partners AG (“SUSI”).
The digital energy services company explained to investors that this new facility will extend the relationship between eEnergy and SUSI beyond just Ireland into the United Kingdom.
In making available financing for up to twelve years and across eEnergy’s range of energy efficiency and onsite generation technologies, the facility will enable the Company to continue to create innovative, market leading capital free solutions for its customers, it highlighted.
SUSI is a leading European fund manager specialising in sustainable energy infrastructure investments, and the facility is being provided through the SUSI Energy Efficiency Fund II.
eEnergy hopes to grow the long-term partnership with SUSI beyond this facility, with a view to scaling funding capacity for Energy Efficiency projects to match the Group’s growth ambitions.
Harvey Sinclair, CEO of eEnergy, said the extension of the project funding to include the UK market is “a significant stepping stone” and will support our rollout of multi-technology solutions across metering, EV charging, solar and lighting over the coming months.
He added that the Company continues to see “increasing levels of appetite” from businesses, schools and other institutions for capital free solutions to deliver lower carbon outcomes.
Last month, eEnergy announced that it was partnering with the electrical vehicle technology solutions provider, EO Charging to create the UK’s largest public sector charging network.
The digital energy services company said this partnership could see the instalment of at least 50,000 EV chargers by 2030 as part of its commitment to create the UK’s largest public sector charging network which is to be implemented through the launch of its new service “eCharge”.
eCharge, which requires no upfront investment, is aimed at making EV charging accessible for thousands of drivers and organisations struggling with the ongoing energy price crisis.
eEnergy, which already provides energy-saving technologies to over 600 schools and 2,000 other workplaces across the UK, said this new agreement commits both parties to work together to introduce and develop EV charging opportunities within the education sector.
EO, the equipment supplier, and eEnergy, the project charge point operator, will work together on mutually exclusive basis to strengthen this relationship through customer cross-referrals.
