East Imperial accelerates US growth with new strategic hire

() , a producer of premium beverages, has appointed Jaron Berkhemer as a consultant to oversee the management and execution of its US sales and marketing strategy.
Berkhemer served as VP of Marketing at Q Drinks for nearly three years, successfully making it the US's number one premium mixer in the on-premise channel.
East Imperial CEO Tony Burt says, “Our US strategy is focused on the luxury on-premise channel, and Jaron knows this better than anyone I know. The fact is that he's done it before and has the accolades to prove it. To have his oversight, experience and passion in our camp is not only a coup but super-exciting."

Today’s announcement further bolsters East Imperial’s rapid expansion of its US footprint. In July, the company announced a new partnership with Air New Zealand, to supply the airline with its first signature drinks onboard its international network, available from late August 2023.
Leading up to this, strategic progress in the US was also made in 2022, with East Imperial announcing the appointment of The Lion Brewery as its US bottling partner, as well as entering into a distribution agreement with Republic National Distributing Company.
Having achieved these significant milestones, East Imperial is now well-positioned to expand its presence even further, especially with the addition of Jaron Berkhemer to its team. Success is already being seen in the US, with sales up 68% year-on-year in FY22, including particularly strong sales in California, where revenues climbed 71%.
